Recently bought one of these that has done 273000 kms. I don't know when the cambelt was last done but I intend to get it serviced at the A.A. Lunn ave in the next few weeks. Are they able to tell me if it needs doing or when it does. Also can you tell me aproximately what it will cost. P.S. I know I sound ignorant but is there more than 1 cambelt, being a v8.

The 1996 Holden Commodore fitted with the 3.8L or 5.0L motors have timing chains so there is no cambelt to replace.
