I have recently purchased a Hyundai Terracan 2.9ltr diesel 4wd 2006. The steering, especially noticeable at lower speeds, 70kph and under, tends to wander a bit. I have to constantly adjust to keep on the straight and narrow. Ihave never owned a SUV 4wd before. I'd like to know if this is a trait with this type of vehicle or a real problem.

The best advice is to have a Hyundai dealer check it to make sure it isn't a problem and that the wheel alighnment is within specification, however the characteristic you talk about is something we have noticed ourselves on some Hyundai and Kia vehicles.
