I have been quoted approx $1,700 all inclusive of labour/GST etc to have my cambelt and water pump replaced on my Renault Scenic 2000. Does this cost seem reasonable?

This seems excessive but that would depend on what other parts will be replaced along with the cambelt - it might be more than the cambelt alone.
