Just been out In my car was running fine the tried to build up speed to go on motorway and was sluggish with not a lot of power then engine management light started flashing turned car on and off light went off but remained sluggish managed to get home but car was jittering when pulling away from lights seems fine now but smell of burning under bonnet looking for some advice thanks

Firstly, the burning smell is a big concern and I suggest you get the vehicle towed to a mechanic for a diagnosis. Hopefully it is only a slipping clutch or something minor.
