My clock has reverted back to Japan figures some time ago when I had a battery jump start. Now it has started flashing and dinging every now and then, I have been told it is a warning that something needs serviced. I always go to the AA for a warrant, and repairs when needed and they do not know what it is either. I am worried that something needs doing but do not know what. Also when I turn left there is a knocking sound coming from the left hand wheel, I have had the CV replaced but it is still making that sound. My car is a 1995 Toyota Marino Sprinter, done 164400 ks and is well looked after. Hope you can help. Shelley.

The (time) clock is a standalone unit and has nothing to do with the engine management system on this 1995 Toyota Marino - something is wrong with the clock. It sounds like you have a CV joint problem (or maybe a wheel bearing) that needs to be checked out by a mechanic - you should take a drive with the mechanic to pin point to him the noise you are referring to.
