Hi there
My car is a Mercedes Benz E320 1996. I bought the car more than one year ago and everything was perfect with the car. I don’t drive it a lot “just once a week!” and the car is usually asleep!
During the recent 2-3 months when I want to start the engine, that is almost very weak. So I try to start and drive the car at least for 15 minutes every other day, as I strongly feel if I don’t do so the car won’t start anymore!
Does it mean the battery is going to be flat and should be replaced or that needs to be charged?
Kind regards
Shahab

You will not be doing your battery any favours in this case as it won't get a decent charge and will likely run flat as the vehicle has a small amount of current draw from the battery even when not in use - asleep.

Depending on the circumstances, it will require a decent charge before testing the battery to see whether it needs replacement.

You should speak to an auto-electrician about installing a maintenance charger to your vehicle's battery as it should solve your problem.
