Hi,

I have a 97 mitsi mirage at 95K on the clock, air con working fine from what I can tell, just wondering if I needed to re-gas the air con because they lose gas over time or some kind of service? Not sure if they should be done at regular intervals or not?
Does my car need replacing a cabin air filter or some sort as well?

Cheers,
Phill

Most manufacturers recommend replacing the receiver/drier at regular intervals (often around 4 years), and this will also involve a regas. This is to ensure the system doesn't become contaminated and fail.
I'd suggest getting an automotive airconditioning specialist to have a look at your car and advise accordingly.
I don't believe your '97 Mirage will have a pollen filter in the cabin.

Thanks, can you recommend an automotive airconditioning specialist as I have no idea which one to trust.

Cheers,
