Hi!

I have a motorhome with Truck tyres. They need 100psi.

I wasn't able to find a way to check/fill them with that pressure.
Where can I do this? Preferably in Hamilton.

Many Thanks in Advance.

You should try the truck stops - there is a Caltex diesel stop listed in 1491 Lincoln Street, Avalon, Hamilton and hopefully they are able to assist you (07-8559062). Otherwise you could try a Firestone/Bridgestone store.

Thanks for the fast reply.

Unfortunately at this location there are only CC operated unserviced fuel pumps.
We have already visited it. No tyre pressure check available.

Frank

I spoke to the BP contact centre and they are under the impression that the unmanned BP site on the corner of Greenwood Street and Kahikatea drive will have the facilities to inflate the tyres.

If all else fails you should visit a tyre shop.

Hmmm. No quote functionality here?
"I spoke to the BP contact centre and they are under the impression that the unmanned BP site on the corner of Greenwood Street and Kahikatea drive will have the facilities to inflate the tyres."

Thanks again. My wife remembered such a station at that place too. But when we drove by about two weeks (?) ago we couldn't see/find it any more. We will continue investigating the vanishing station :-).

And the reason I don't want to visit a tyre shop is I don't want to exploit them. Or feel obligated to buy the next tyres at a specific spot. A Gas Station of some sort would be perfect the same as it is for all other motorists...

Regards,
Frank.

And the picture in http://www.bpfinder.co.nz/ doesn't look very convincing: a backyard?

I am surprised that the call centre wasn't aware of this. A tyre shop will be the best place to check the tyre pressures and in that way you can get the tyre condition checked at the same time.
