My car just loses drive. It has happened almost at the same area several times and elsewhere on a number of occasions. I stop and switch of the motor and wait a few minutes(2-3) and restart and everything will be fine. I have tried changing the transmission oil but the problem reappears. There is no set time/distance pattern except this place where i go uphill for 2 km and then down for another 2 km and then it stops. One mechanic say it is a servo motor problem. What could it be

This sounds like a stepper motor problem. Unfortunately, once it has been switched off and restarted, the memory codes are wiped so it can be a little difficult to diagnose unless the fault is present, however, the symptoms would indicate this to be the problem.
