Hi, I have a 2002 Mazda Tribute 3.0 V6 with 230,000km on the clock and am starting to get the oil light coming on when sitting at idle after it has been driven for 20 minutes or so. Plenty of oil so want to know if it is oil pump wearing out and if so is it easily and relatively cheaply replaced? Is always serviced regularly.

You need to get this vehicle to a mechanic who can carry out an oil pressure test to determine if there is loss of pressure. There are many things that can cause this and hopefully it's only a faulty oil pressure switch otherwise it will be an expensive repair.
