Hi there!

I was wondering if you could tell which of the two vehicles are the best option? We are looking at the 2007 or newer models. Also, is it better to buy NZ new or import vehicles? Do either of these vehicles have spesific problems or recurring problems? And then, repairs and parts, are they expensive and hard to come by? Which vehicle is more reliable and will be the best buy?

Thanks!

The three vehicles you mention have good reputations but might well be fitted with a direct injection engine - earlier types were known for problems and expensive repairs but we are under the impression that they have improved. These models are popular in the MPV market and parts should be readily available. The Toyota Ipsum is the smaller one out of the three and it's better compared to Mazda's Premacy which is also a good choice. If you only need a six or seven seater then the Premacy or Ipsum are the ones to look at as the other two you mention are larger.
