How often should a cambelt be changed please? Are there any warning signs of wear and what type of service place do you recommend to do the job?

Most vehicle manufacturers specify different intervals for timing belt replacement. It would depend on the make and model of the vehicle. Some manufacturers specify 60,000km or four years whichever comes first or even 100,000km or six years whichever comes first - it depends entirely on the make and model of the vehicle.

Please supply us with more information and we can supply you with the specific intervals according to your vehicle.

If you don't replace the cambelt when it's necessary you run the risk of the belt breaking and in most cases this failure will cause engine damage.
