Firstly you need to ensure the battery is fully charged. The engine needs to crank over sufficiently to start the engine. Check that the battery terminals are not corroded and that they are making good contact as well as being secure. Check the earth cables - they need to make good contact and be secure. Also, check all the fuses in the engine bay fuse box as well as inside the vehicle - possibly one has fused.

There are a lot of things that can cause a vehicle not to start. For an engine to run it needs spark, timing, compression, air, fuel.
