If your car fails a WOF check, how long do you have to get the issues fixed in order for it to pass?

You have 28 days to complete the repairs and return the vehicle for a re-check. After that, the inspection needs to be done again and you need to pay for another WoF inspection.
You are not permitted to keep using the car during this 28 day period, other than to take it to a place of repair or to the WoF station for a re-check.
