Hi,

I have a de-registered Mitsubishi Mirage year 99. It was in a front end collision and the radiator support frame has been bent in about an inch or so almost touching the radiator. The car drives fine to me and has no other issues. What I would like to know is that if I decide to re-register/re-comply the car; is that bent radiator frame going to be a problem?

As this vehicle has been de-registered due to accident damage, it will be required to be signed off by an engineer before it can be put back on the road. It will be up to the engineer to determine what repairs will be needed before he issues an LT308 Certificate, allowing re-registration (assuming all other factors for compliance are met).
