I just purchased a used Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4 XLS 2008.

The car runs nice, but has a problem of rough idling. As per the service records, the last service was at 165K and the present mileage is 186K. Is it due for a service as of now? If yes, what kind of service is needed? Can I get it done by AA? I am at Hamilton.

The car runs very well but has rough idling - can this be rectified in service? Can the AA give me a cost indication for the service?

Thanks.

Wow, that is very high k's for a 2008 vehicle, also a while since the last service. The most common cause of misfiring on Mitsubishi vehicles is plug leads. Without knowing when the spark plugs were last changed, the plugs could be a possibility too.
There are a couple of AA Auto Service outlets in Hamilton. They should be able to give you an indication of price.

Thanks. At least the Ks are genuine! It was a fleet car.
