Hi there, I have an unmodified 2000 Nissan Silvia (non-turbo engine, auto transmission). Every now and then I notice there is a slight hesitation or stutter when accelerating from a stop. Just wondering if you have any idea what might be causing this?

Sorry, but it really could be a number of things. The best thing to do is to get your mechanic to scan the system to see if there are any fault codes, which is likely to save a lot of time on diagnosis.
Other than that, it's a case of checking the basics (spark plugs, air flow meter, O2 sensor, fuel filter, air filter etc, etc).
