My car seems to lose power when driving on the motorway - it basically feels like I've lifted my foot off the accelerator but then it goes almost instantly goes back to normal -the car is serviced regularly and no-one has mentioned anything needs replacing
Could it be the spark plugs - to my knowledge they have not been replaced

There are a couple of possibilities for this fault; a blocked fuel filter, faulty throttle position sensor, faulty TDC sensor, a partially blocked catalytic converter or even faulty spark plugs can have these symptoms. To get a better idea of where the cause of the fault is located you should get the vehicle to your trusted mechanic to have a look at it. The diagnostic computer should give the mechanic some clues to what is causing the fault.
