I have Nissan Sunny 2004 (imported from Japan in 2012) fitted with tyre size -175/70/R14.
I need new tyres and I would like to know all allowed tyre sizes for this car.
Also could you recomment some mid range brand of tyres?
Thank you.

Changing the tyre size will make a difference to the speedo reading. As an example, changing to a 185/70R14 tyre will make the speedo read around 2.5% slower than the actual speed - but this shouldn't be a problem as most speedos will under read a slight bit. You should also consider replacing the spare tyre to match. A tyre specialist can advise you if the tyre size you are considering will be suitable for the vehicle and wheel rim. If the tyre is too wide or the circumference is too large it might touch on the suspension or bodywork. You should rather keep to the standard tyre size to avoid any problems.
