I have a Mazda Eunos Presso V6 which has developed a water leak down near the injectors, it is so tightly packed in that I can't even see where, I tried the easy way of adding Bars Leaks to no avail. any suggestions what has happened, remedy, etc Cheers.

There are a few small coolant hoses that are located around the intake manifold and it is possible one of them has started leaking. Another possibility is the thermostat housing which sits between the cylinder heads on the timing cover side could be leaking. You need to get the cooling system pressure tested by a mechanic to detect the cause of the coolant leak. Under pressure it is more likely to show itself.

When the cooling system is hot and under pressure the antifreeze mix could be sprayed from another point to the injectors.

Posting this correction in the hope it might assist others.

The thermostat housing (on the K8 V6 engine as fitted to the Eunos Presso) is NOT located on the timing cover side of the engine. The housing is located on the throttle body or transmission side of the engine immediately below the fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator connections. There is only one coolant hose connection to the inlet manifold and that is the hose connected to the IAC fitted to the bottom of the throttle body to assist idle control when the engine is cold.

It is not the thermostat housing but it is a cooling system housing that sits between the 'V' in the front of the engine which could possibly be leaking. The thermostat housing sits in the area above the transmission at the rear of the engine (look between the 'V') and is also worth checking for leaks.

But a cooling pressure system check should reveal where the leak is coming from.
