Hi ,
I have 2 vehicles which i need info on please, Mazda Sp20 , 2001, 83,000 ks and a Isuzu Bighorn 3.1DT , 1997, 93000 ks,
Q1 when are they due for a cambelt replacement and is this a costly process for one or both .
Q2 I take both of them to oil changers every 5000ks (and have done since both were bought when they had 20000ks on each)
Are they due for a big service soon or is carrying on taking them to oil changer fine.

The information I have shows that the Mazda SP20 has a cambelt that needs replacing every 100,000km/5 years whichever comes first. The Isuzu cambelt needs replacing every 90,000km/ 6 years whichever comes first. It would seem that both of your vehicles are due for cambelt replacements.

It is a good idea to have major services carried out, on both vehicles, as the age and mileage is starting to get high.

Cambelt replacements are normally an expensive exercise.
