hi there.i purchased this car in 2008 when it had done 100000 kms. Since then i have covered 90000kms. i have had to replace the headlight clusters as the bulb holders had cracked costing $600..also a crankshaft sensor needed replacing 1000kms ago. i would like to hang on to the car for a couple of years and i change the oil etc every 10000kms . it uses oil approx 2litres every 10000kms. is this excessive and if so what should i do? are yiu aware of any other reliability issues with this model?thanks for your help.

This model has a great reputation for reliability, as is evident by your car that has covered almost 200,000km with very little problem. 2 litres of oil per 10,000km isn't vastly excessive for a car of this mileage. If you continue to service it regularly as you have been doing, it should continue to give you good service. Having said that, the mileage you are currently doing would mean that it will have done close to 250,000km by the time you're ready to move it on, so there are no guarantees. Obviously, with any car, as mileage increases, so does risk.
