Hi there,
We have been told that our catalytic converter is a problem and although it does not need replacing yet, what would the likely cost be to have this work done?

On a vehicle of that age, it would be much more cost-effective to go for an after-market option. I believe they would be in the ball park of about $300, compared with a genuine Honda one which at a guess would be around $1,500.
Most muffler shops may be able to help, or else we found this company on the web spscialising in catalytic converters who would be able to help.
