Can you please advise if you recommend getting a wheel alignment every 10,000 kms if the car appears to be driving straight and not veering to one side if I take my hands off the steering wheel?

It really depends on the type of use. If the car is used regularly on metal roads with potholes and undulations, the wheel alignment is likely to be affected more than a car that's used primarily on smooth seal.
Having said that, if the car is steering straight and there's no uneven tyre wear, there's definitely no requirement to align the wheels every 10,000km.
