Hi,

I had recently purchased a 93 mazda efini ms-8 and it had done 115k's only. The pre-inspection report mentioned brake issues and so I got the front disc pads and rotors changed and front calipers reconditioned from AA. The report also said oil levels are low, underside of gear box wet, water leak from front of engine area, cooling fans cut in. Is that a concern which needs immediate attention?
The cambelt had been changed at 88K's. Not sure about the water pump though.

The next service is due at 119k's. I am confused as to go for a service right now, silver service may be or wait or address the particular issues.

Appreciate your advise.

Many Thanks.

My most immediate concern would be the water leak and cooling fans cutting in. This would suggest the cooling system is in need of attention - something that can lead to engine damage if left unattended. I would get onto this without delay.
Oil leaks etc can generally be kept in check if they are monitored on a regular basis, although they should be attended to if the budget runs to it. The service, if not quite due could wait until it is due.
