Hi, are you able to advise - the light has come up & to fix it I have been quoted from one garage $75, from Honda - $900 as they advise they have to replace the motherboard.

Is this right?? - thanks

There are numerous faults that could have occurred causing the SRS light to come on, so it really depends on why the light has come on.
I am guessing that the garage that quoted $75 may just be quoting to re-set the light, but if the actual fault is not located and repaired, the light may come back on. If they are sure they have done the correct diagnosis and the fault will not return, go with the $75 repair.
However, if the Honda dealer has done some preliminary diagnosis to determine the fault, and have pinpointed the fault to the motherboard, they could be right.
Ultimately, it is not really possible to determine what the final cost of the repair will be until the fault has been correctly diagnosed.
