I was told to change the transmission oil on my 2003 Audi A3 (non turbo) and was wondering where to purchase this oil from?
I understand it's not something you can buy from Repco.

The correct fluids are vital to the ongoing reliability of engine, cooling systems and transmissions in any motor vehicle.
I would not be purchasing any transmission fluid from a supplier such as Repco without first making contact with an Audi dealer or auto specialist and asking what their recommended fluid is.
It may be a more expensive option that they recommend, but I cannot stress enough the importance of the correct fluid.
Audi may recommend a standard auto fluid which can be purchased from a store such as Repco or they may sell their own oil over the counter from their spare parts department.
Also, consider taking the car into an Audi dealer or a automatic specialist to have the job done properly. By properly I mean draining as much of the old fluid out of the transmission as possible.
Often a drain at home will only capture a small amount of the total transmission capacity. If you do attempt the job at home, please ensure you dispose of the old fluid in an environmentally friendly way.
