What is involved for a 90000km service for an automatic VW Polo please.And approx cost?

It depends on the year of the car and the previous service history. If it's a relatively late model car (say, 2000ish on) and the VW service schedule has always been adhered to (and you intend keeping that up) it would be an interim service, as the service interval is 15,000km, with the big services being at 60,000km and 120,000km.
A local VW specialist tells us to allow approx $350 to complete the service correctly as per the manufacturer's recommendation, assuming no other faults are found during the service.
