Can I be failed a warrant of fitness because my rear tail lights have some slight moisture in them? There is no affect to visability

There has been a recent WOF bulletin from NZTA on this subject. Lamps are allowed to have a light mist or fog but not droplets. In general terms, a mist is likely to disperse with heat after the lamp has been operating for a period, whereas droplets will not.
Ultimately, the inspector needs to determine which description applies.
Be mindful that moisture can cause corrosion, so it could corrode the bulb socket or lamp base, causing the lamp to fail if left for too long.
