Hi Jack.
About 2 yrs ago I contacted you regarding a CVT that failed at approx 115k after it was established that ATF had been put in it. The belt disintrigated. NZCVT supplied an exchange unit and it was away again.
Well it has just covered another 40K and had its first service since. It has beef refilled with Fuchs NV-2 lubricant and it goes even better. This lube seems slightly thinner than what came with the recond unit.
Overall it is going well. Economy is averaging 8.5l/100km as the car travels alot of open road k's.
So the CVT is a good unit. I am pleased with it.
