I have very slow leak I believe to be to be a head gasket as there are bubbles coming through the coolant system. No water in oil and no oil in water. Did have an overheat due to rapid coolant loss through burst hose, since then continuous coolant loss, approx 1ltr per 300km. Would appreciate info on cylinder head removal and replacement with any special things to look for or do whilst into this. I have done this before but not on a diesel. Thanks and regards Colin Ward.

Colin, the best advice I can give you is to find a trusted repairer who has had experience on Diesel engines to carry out this repair.

You really do need some experience in Diesel engine technology to even think about attempting this sort of work.
