Air Bag light keeps comes back on several months after reset. Happens three times now. What possible causes.

As you are experiencing, resetting the system is often a very temporary measure because the fault that caused the light to come on in the first place is not being repaired.

At times, the light can take several weeks to reappear while at other times it can only be a matter of days.

The car needs to go to either a Mini Dealership or a garage that has a scanning tool which hopefully will retrieve a fault code from the engine management system.

Be aware with the light on, the airbags will not deploy if the vehicle is in an accident and the occupants are at risk of injury.
