Hi, Have a 1995 Corolla which occasionly has a bit of slipping clutch. Can this be fixed by adjustment or is it the sign of needing a new clutch plate.

I'm not sure about a Corolla of this age to be honest. If the clutch is operated by a cable then it would definitely be adjustable. If its operated hydraulically then most unlikely.

Either way it doesn’t sound promising especially if the clutch is original.

Toyota do a very good job of retailing their clutch kits at competitive prices so don’t assume non genuine parts is the cheaper option if the clutch does need replacing.
