What is the expected life of this motor if it is regularly serviced and running well and already up to 400k's

Who would really know?

The engine could be good for another 50-100k, then again it may not.

It would be a brave person to expect this engine to keep going without some sort of fairly major spend in the not too distant future.

You certainly would not budget on a zero spend. It all comes down to good or bad luck regardless of past servicing.
