Hi, I have a strange 'wobbling' noise coming from the front of my car. It's not a tyre noise and it gets louder when I turn right. I'm not getting any different feedback through the steering wheel so I'm thinking that it may be a differential or maybe something rubbing on the brake, but neither of these theories feel right. The only previous time I had a diff problem was a rear wheel drive so not sure if a front wheel drive diff will be different i.e. not getting louder when I lift off. Any thoughts???

I’m not sure what a 'wobbling' noise sounds like to be honest.

My thoughts drifted towards a noisy constant velocity joint but they emit a 'clicking' noise when turning. This joint provides drive to the front wheels while retaining the ability for the front wheels to steer.

Best you head to your preferred repairer for a quick road test to clearly identify the problem.

Thanks - Yes, I could have tried and typed the sound but suspect that wouldn't have helped either. I'll give the mechanic a try.
