We are waiting for an imported Toyota Harrier. Is there any servicing we should do upon delivery to make sure it is ready for NZ roads

Change the engine oil and filter for sure, and a check of the brake fluid condition (moisture content) wouldn’t hurt either.

As part of the compliance process the brakes should have been checked so it’s really just the fluids that need to be checked.

The cooling system may need to be flushed depending on vehicle mileage, same with the transmission.

Suggest you stick with genuine or Toyota recommended fluids only to get yourself off to the best start possible.
