I own a 1981 mitsabishi mirage about six weeks ago my car started this thing where it felt like it was surging back and forth when i accelerated. I took it to the macanic for a tune up and it stoped but recently it started up again.Do you have any idea what this could be?

Not really Beth, I think its best you go back to your mechanic and ask him to have another look.

You should expect some assistance with labour charges for a second look as well.
