What is a good brand of battery charger for a 4WD diesel? I want to buy a decent charger so I can top up my battery when it gets flat. I need something with a bit of grunt. The usual 12-volt chargers won't do. Any suggestions on brand, the number of amps I would need etc?

Having spoken to our AA Battery team, the charger they would recommend is a 15A charger. The one they carry in stock is a heavy duty unit, similar to the type used in many workshop situations. I believe it costs around $195 plus GST.
