Toyota Altezza, recently has some laod noise from the engine when i start it and it last for a minute or so and back to normal..

This does not sound healthy.

Does the dash oil warning light stay on when you hear the noise and then go out when it disappears?

If so, then it indicates an engine oil pressure problem.

First check would be the engine oil level regardless.

If you are not mechanically minded then don’t delay, get the car into your local garage so a mechanic can check levels and listen to the noise.

thanks for the reply.. it hasn't have that noise since then..

the oil warning light was not on at that time and i checked the engine oil level is fine... hard to tell what's the problem if it doesn't happen every time start the engine.. lol
