When reversing a car on an A frame how are the front wheels on the reversed car likely to behave?
For instance, with your hand on the seat of a bicycle and pushing forwards the front wheel will run straight. However if you pull the bicycle backwards the the front wheel will inevitably tuen one way or the other. Will the same apply in the case of a cat?

Reversing with an A - Frame will create a fight with the caster angles of the cars front wheels and make reversing almost impossible.

Unhitching the car is really the best option if you are caught in a situation where a reversing manoeuvre is required.
