HI, I have the above vehicle (115k) and it has developed a knock in the rear end when pulling away from stationary. However it only happens after the car has heated up and done say 50km. It is more prevelent after open road driving. It will not do it on normal around town driving. It is worse in a straight line than when turning. Any thoughts or can any one help with this.

It’s all a bit of a guess really but you should at least get the obvious things checked out first such as the driveshaft universal joints.

You may need to take the vehicle into your preferred repairer and ask to go for a test drive with a mechanic to point out the noise.

A quick look while the car is on a hoist may also help identify something fairly obvious.
