After a full service, the rear left hand hand brake is not releasing well or sticking, how do we fix this and is this something that was possibly caused by the servicing of the car. thanks

It depends on the type of rear brakes fitted to your vehicle (drum or disc), but it sounds like the brakes have been over-adjusted either at the wheels or the handbrake cable itself.

Take the car back to the garage who carried out the service and ask them to have a look. They should be able to sort it out while you wait and at no charge if the brakes have been over-adjusted.

Their explanation would have to be pretty convincing if they wanted to charge you for any extra work.
