i own a toyota corona st171 and was replacing rear brake shoes. i was a wee bit hasty and pulled both sides apart the nite b4 without taking pics of how they go back together.i managed to get them back in alright but now one side seems to adjust itself so that the brakes are always on. have i possibly put the shoes round the wrong way?? if thats possible??

It's impossible to say what you may have done to be honest.

If the other side is OK one option would be to compare the way those shoes etc are fitted and change accordingly.

If you have any doubts then call in a mobile mechanic or ask your local garage if they would be prepared to come out and have a look.

One trick with rear brakes is to always slacken off the handbrake cables first and readjust as the very last job.

Don't take any risks, if in doubt call in the experts.
