I am interested in buying a Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV but a deal breaker for me is the the fact they don't carry a spare wheel, only a tyre repair kit. I regularly travel the length and breadth of the South Island and the thought of getting stranded way down in South Westland with a non-repairable puncture really puts me off. I am interested to know what the incidence of the AA getting call-outs is to these types of situations is?

Hi,
To date I have had no reponse from your refering me to BussinessSuport@aa.co.nz. As so many new vehicles these days don't carry a spare wheel of any sort, I would have expected AA to be able to answer my simple question about the incidence of callouts to motorists being stranded with a puncture that they can't fix with a tyre repair kit. Is this something I am worrying too much about as I try to choose which electrified car to buy? Kind Regards
