Hi. My car is insured with AA. It was stolen and recovered. After fingerprinting, AA insurance asked me what panel beater I wanted them to send it to. I replied one that you usually work with. She apparently didn't know as she looked up a list of panel beaters for me to choose from.
Anyway, my question is why a panel beater? The ignition is broken and a window is broken. These aren't jobs a panel beater would normally handle are they? What if the chassis is bent? Will an assessor come to the panel beater to assess all the work needing doing?
