I just went on a road trip and found that my car was losing power and shaking at high revs around 6000RPM, red line starts at 6000, tachometer max is 8,000. It's never happened before and happened 5-10 times on the trip.

I only push it that hard when overtaking, but it can be dangerous. I was passing a truck in the passing lane and another car snuck in behind me so I had to step on it to give him room and the car started shaking at 6,000, not picking up speed and he just made it through behind me. If I creep up slower without the revs picking up, I can get to higher speeds without the problem. I took this video to get an idea of what the engine shake might look like at high revs. Shaking starts at 27 seconds: https://youtu.be/x2wUe8mzq-A
I just had my WOF so asked them to scan the car for errors and no codes came up.
Thanks

Hi there,
I would first be checking things like the sparkplugs for wear or signs of misfire and coils for any signs of leaking, I would also recommend checking and possibly cleaning the throttle flap/intake area. It might be that the vehicle needs to go to a workshop with a dyno in order to find a high speed and revs kind of problem that doesn't easily replicate.
