Hello, I have a NZ New 2010 PT Cruiser auto @ approx 97000kms. I've received conflicting advice regarding a new timing belt. Should it be replaced at 100,000kms OR 100,000miles (approx 162,000kms) please?
Many thanks for your help.

Hi there,
For both engine sizes 2.0 or 2.4ltr the replacement interval as per the Autodata guide states 192,000km or 96 months whichever comes first. This is for Australian spec vehicles which should be the same as what we would have here as NZ new.
The European spec models have a few engine options, with the only timing belt replacement difference being the 2.4 Turbo engine having 164,000km or 84 months replacement interval.
