Hi there, is it common for the four age corolla to smoke a bit and burn a small amount of oil when it's done nearly 200k? Thanks.

At 200K anything is possible.

An awful lot depends on what you mean by a 'small' amount of oil. You may need to visit your local garage and let them check out how much tail pipe smoke is being emitted.

They may recommend an oil change with a reasonable high viscosity oil (20 - 40) as a way to reduce the consumption.
