I own a nissan fuga 2008 and I had failed the wof due to my steering rack leaking. Thankfully my car had mechanic warranty and it's been a week since I've taken my car into a mechanic. They have advised me that they've been busy lately, but I am unsure with how long replacing a steering rack could take... Would it take more than 2 weeks? Or a month?

The replacement shouldn't take more than a day of labour- tracking down replacement parts that are in good condition, and fitting the job in around an already busy booking schedule might be more the case.
