Hi we are looking at buying a 2015 Toyota Aqua hybrid with 94,000kms on the clock. I am concerned about battery life and replacement options in NZ. How expensive is this and what is the expected life of a hybrid battery? Thanks

Price for replacement would depend on who does it and where the parts come from. You may find companies like thebatteryclinic.co.nz in Auckland who might be able to put a price on replacement of advise when it may be required.
However the lifespan is dependent on a number of factors including age of the vehicle, usage, mileage on the clock and how well you look after your vehicle.
We've found hybrid owners start talking about battery replacement as their vehicles reach 8-years old which is what some manufacturers indicate the battery is good for.
